Several Challenges of this Object Permanence set

In this set, the challenges are isolated with the help of different lids. Your baby will have to understand the concept of dropping an object into a hole. It is always better to start with the lids with only one shape on them.

Slowly explain how the object disappears into the box and re-appears in the draw. This concept is very interesting for your toddler. They will like to repeat it over and over again. Then introduce the coin slots.

Finally you can give all the objects with the Lid with multiple shapes on them. The child will be sorting while also understating the concept of Object permanence.

How Play?

• When the kid is able to sit independently in comfort and use their hands in unison to open and close the drawer, this toy can be introduced.
• If the child finds opening the drawer a bit difficult just introduce the first lid without the drawer.
• Make sure that this arrangement is age-appropriate to prevent the child from feeling overburdened.
• Stage 1: Offer the lid with only the circle and offer only the sphere in a small tray or bowl.
• Stage 1.1: Offer the cylinder along the cube
• Stage 2: Offer the lid with the square and cube.
• Stage 2.1: Offer the cuboid once the child is comfortable with the cube
• Stage 3: Offer the lid with the triangle and the triangular prism
• Stage 4: Offer the lid with all shapes and elements
• Stage 5: Offer a few coins with coin slot lid
• Use only the solids later for a name lesson when the child is around 18M+
• Put all the solids in a bag and encourage the child to feel and pick a solid.
• Make the outlines of sides of the solids and the child can match them
